"HHFDC DEP Program"
The State of Hawaii (HHFDC) launched a zero interest 2nd mortgage program that will pay 50% or more of your down payment if you currently are in an industry facing a shortage. The HHFDC will soon be offering this program to nurses, teaches, police officers, and agricultural field workers who intend to be an owner occupant for the term of the 2nd mortgage loan and share in the net appreciation with the State. This program is called the Dwelling Unit Revolving Fund Equity Pilot Program (DEP) and will soon be available at Modea.
