JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Vice-President (1 position open)

• The Vice-President reports to the President and is responsible for oversight of association marketing and other activities as assigned by the President; and, in the absence of the president, shall assume the duties of that office.

2. Treasurer (1 position open)

• The Treasurer shall be accountable for the fiscal affairs of HAWAIʻI-ANA and shall provide reports and interpretations of HAWAIʻI-ANA's financial condition to the Board of Directors, the HAWAIʻI-ANA Annual Membership Meeting, and the membership. The treasurer shall be chairman of the Finance Committee.

3. Director at Large (2 positions open)

• The Director-at-Large reports to the President, and shall represent the members of the association, and remain knowledgeable about the business of the association, and uphold the fiscal and legal responsibilities of the Board and individual Directors.

4. Nominating Committee (3 positions open)

• Request names of HAWAIʻI-ANA/ANA members as candidates for statewide elective offices. Prepare a slate for each statewide elective office and publish such slate on the HAWAIʻI-ANA website at least 30 days prior to the election. This slate shall be representative, insofar as possible, of the various geographical areas of the state and of the diversity within the membership. Implement the policies and procedures for nominations and elections as established by the Board of Directors. Assume other responsibilities for nominations in policies and procedures as established by the Board of Directors.
