CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

On behalf of Hawai’i-ANA Nominating Committee and the Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce that the annual 2022 Call for Nominations for Elected Positions is now open.

Please consider volunteering or nominating for any of the following open positions. Open positions are listed below, along with any requirement associated. Note, membership in Hawaiʻi-ANA is mandatory for all positions. If you are unsure of your membership status please contact Executive Director, Linda Beechinor, at executivedirector@hawaii-ana.org

In accordance with the 2021 Bylaws of Hawaiʻi-ANA, the following positions will be open for election:

Vice President

The Vice-President reports to the President and is responsible for the newsletter and social media; membership growth and diversification; development, communications, and coordination of District activities; other activities as assigned by the President; and, in the absence of the president, shall assume the duties of that office.  The Vice President is a member of the Executive Committee.

Treasurer

The Treasurer shall be accountable for the fiscal affairs of HAWAII-ANA and shall provide reports and interpretation of HAWAII-ANA's financial condition to the Board of Directors, the Annual Conference, and the membership. The treasurer shall be chairman of the Finance Committee. The Treasurer is a member of the Executive Committee.

Director-at-Large (2 seats)

The Director-at-Large serves on the Hawai’i-ANA Board of Directors to represent the membership who elected them.  Duties include serving on standing or ad hoc committees, acting as a liaison between the committee and the Board of Directors, assistance with programming, event planning, and member recruitment; and other duties as assigned by the Executive Committee.

Nominating Committee (3 seats)

The Nominating Committee member serves per the committee duties outlined in Article II, Section 2.3. of the Hawaiʻi-ANA Bylaws 2021.

1. Complete the Consent to Serve Form

2. The Nominating Committee will contact you following submission to: a) Confirm your intent to run for the elected position, and b) Work with you to advertise your candidacy 

HOW TO NOMINATE

1. Complete the Nomination Form

2. The Nominating Committee will contact the member nominated to: a) Provide the nominated with the Consent to Serve Form, b) Confirm their acceptance of the nomination and intent to run, and c) Work with the nominated member to advertise their candidacy
