Nurse Educator Workshop Scholarship

Hawaiʻi-ANA is offering a scholarship for a nurse educator or aspiring nurse educator to attend the Hawaiʻi State Center for Nursing "Nurse Educator's Evidence-based Practice Workshop"

This two-day workshop is being held at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki on March 16-17th, 2022. The workshop will immerse you In the evidence-based practice (EBP) process and give you the skills and resources to teach EBP to students and clinicians.

Workshop facilitation by faculty from The Helene Fuld Health Trust National Institute for Evidence-based Practice in Nursing & Healthcare at The Ohio State University.

Workshop Objectives:

Discuss the evolution of EBP; its language, constructs, and skills Differentiate the constructs, language, and skills of EBP, Research, Quality Improvement, and Implementation Science; Describe approaches to teaching and integrating evidence-based practice into courses and across curricula

Apply principles and concepts of teaching and learning to create learning experiences that build EBP competency and support integration of EBP into academic and clinical practice

Hawaiʻi-ANA is offering a scholarship to attend this workshop. Scholarship award is limited to Hawaiʻi-ANA members. Deadline to apply is Friday, February 25th at 11:55pm HST. Awardee will be notified on Monday, February 28th.
