Position Description

Job Description
This position is for a registered nurse in Hawaii to coordinate and provide injection training for patients learning to self-administer specialty medications for chronic conditions such as autoimmune disorders and Multiple Sclerosis.

- Per diem position working approximately 10 hours/week.
- Coverage area is primarily Oahu
- Primarily responsible for educating patients going home on a specialty injectable medication. This education will be done in a physician's office, or another medical facility
- Help drive the business by assisting the Sales Team as they build our reputation for providing patients with the education they need to independently administer their medications.
- Coordinate with patients and referral sources (e.g., physicians, case managers, etc.) to schedule the patient teach.

If you would like to work more than approximately 10 hours/week, we can train you to work with our team on the mainland to:
- Coordinate care between CVS Pharmacy, physicians and a qualified Home Health Agency if needed to provide care in patients' homes.
- Verify insurance coverage
- Assure competency of the Home Health nurse prior to providing care to our patients.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 55,300
Maximum: 118,900

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current license in state of HI.
* Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus
* Have and maintain current CPR certification
* Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance
* Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Preferred Qualifications
- Home healthcare experience a plus, but not required

RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
