The 23rd Hawaiʻi International Summit is a premier event that unites the latest research on prevention, assessment, and intervention techniques related to trauma, abuse, and maltreatment throughout the lifespan. We will examine the potential long-term effects of untreated trauma, offering insights through engaging plenary and breakout sessions.
Topics will include various forms of trauma affecting children, adolescents, adults/elders, the complexities of maltreatment in both home and community environments, and the resulting long term psychological, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental impacts.
This year’s Summit features an exceptional lineup of nationally and internationally recognized presenters alongside local practitioners, who will share cutting-edge research, innovative assessment methods, and effective prevention strategies for those impacted by trauma, abuse, and victimization. With a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care and cultural perspectives, participants will gain valuable access to practical techniques grounded in the latest research.
With over 120 sessions spanning 3 days, there’s something for everyone at this comprehensive event.
