Post Session Updates from the Public Access Room: Using the Interim

We'll discuss the Governor's deadlines for bills recently passed by the legislature and show you how to find new Acts and Laws.  We'll also share tips on how you can work with legislators over the interim - working to move forward bills that didn't succeed in 2025 and preparing new ideas for the 2026 legislative session.  We'll save time at the end for questions!

As of today, there are 287 bills on the Governor's desk pending his action.  He can sign the bill into law (making it an Act), allow it to become law without his signature, or consider vetoing the bill.  Check out PAR's recent social media post for more information!
